Thankyou for writing that article ,John Griffiths is my dead partners 3rd Great Grandfather on his Mother's side . I have been researching his family tree that the descendants have all been made to feel very proud of their ancestors on the Griffiths side .I came across the Robinson original stuff he had written in his Journal a few days back and searched the details of William Dutton ,It was unclear if John Griffiths knew about what went on but obviously he did .How disgusting if them all . I would say that Sophia Dutton would have become a domestic servant to John Griffiths family which was common back then .
My two sons will be taught the true history of what these people have done .Thankyou again for your contribution to correcting and exposing the glorified history of Colonial Australia and brutality that the first nations people endured .
